DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to participate in our very special Agape Meal on Maundy Thursday\, April 2 at 5:00 PM in Parish Hall.  Join us for this Love Feast\, or Agape Meal\, a Christian fellowship meal recalling the meals Jesus shared with the disciples during his ministry and expressing the community enjoyed by the family of Christ.  \n \nNo recipes have come down to us from the time of Christ; however\, knowing what raw materials were available to the Jews of Palestine in that period and what dishes were mentioned in the Bible\, we have an idea of what Christians may have eaten at an Agápe (love) feast. Our Agape Menu will include: fish\, olives\, nuts\, cheeses\, fresh fruit\, fresh vegetables\, bread\, hummus and wine (for adults).\n\nYou don’t need to bring a thing but please RSVP to mamamoe@stmarksmarco.org.

The gradual descent into gloom is a representation of Jesus’ increasing sorrow as the events of Holy Week unfold.

DESCRIPTION:The Mighty Women of St. Mark’s  Scholarship Committee will be awarding  up to five (5) scholarships in the amount of $3\,000 each for the 2026-27 school year. These scholarships will be awarded to young men or women who are active members of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church of Marco Island and who have met the academic and service requirements demonstrating their commitment to St. Mark’s and their interest in serving others in their community. This opportunity is available to high school seniors and college and/or trade school students as outlined in the Scholarship Guidelines. Application Packets are available in the church office.
