It started when Pope St. Gregory prohibited Christians from eating all forms of meat and animal products during Lent around A.D. 600. … So Christians made pancakes to use up their supply of eggs, milk and butter in preparation for Lent. Join us this Fat Tuesday, March 1st in the Courtyard, for our Pancake Supper annual Bike Parade. Kids are invited to join us on the playground to decorate their bikes and scooters for the Bike Parade. We provide all the decorations. Bike decorating at 5:30pm, Palm Burning at 5:55pm and Pancake Supper at 6:00pm.  All are welcome!
