Music and art helps lift our souls.

Senior Choir

Volunteer choir members, vocal and instrumental soloists, guest musicians and parishioners fill the sanctuary with sacred, secular and contemporary hymns of praise and thanksgiving. If you have the voice of an angel or just love to sing, please come, lift your voice in song as a gift to all. Contact Organist Helga Burtus at [email protected] or Todd Peterson at [email protected].

Handbell Choir

St. Mark’s handbell choir performs in church and at special events to the delight of all, ringers and audiences alike. It’s our very own unique and beautiful offering to the Divine. Please consider joining us. No experience necessary – we’ll teach you what you need to know.

No Exceptions Band

Band Director Shane Totten brings the Family Service alive with his blend of praise and worship music performed by the No Exceptions Band. Youth, ages 10-100 are encouraged to join the band. Contact Shane Totten for more information.

Friends of Music

Supporters of St. Mark’s Music Ministry provide financial resources to allow us to present the Concert Series, special events and a variety of guest musicians throughout the year. Friends are offered preferred seating for each concert and recognition as benefactors.

Email Helga Bartus to get involved.

Artists in Residence create prayers without words

St. Mark’s Artists in Residence (AiR) produce art as an expression of faith. Art can help the creator and the viewer engage more deeply in prayer, the contemplation of holy events and holy lives and how their very presence can give a sense of peace and calm. Come, marvel at the etched-glass windows depicting the Incarnation on display during Advent, the stained-glass windows celebrating the twelve days of Epiphany, or pray at the stations of the cross interpreting the Crucifixion of Christ showcased during the forty days of Lent.

Email Janet DeAnna or Cynthia Dayton to get involved.
